snowflowers by Philip Shen

These two high intermediate models by Philip Shen look different but, in fact, share a similar structure. They begin with hexagon and feature a complicated collapse process. In this two-hour class I will teach you how to fold both models (Snowflower 1 is the one on the left, in pink, and Snowflower 2 is the one on the right, in gold). I will also show you one of the many methods of constructing a hexagon from a square (although you can bring your own pre-made hexagons).
